Why is that so hard? 

Why is there so much confusion and pain in some of our most cherished relationships, no matter how hard we try to make them work?

And why do our heroic, endless efforts to "get ahead" in life leave us -- at best -- stressed, exhausted, anxious, and overwhelmed? And at worst resentful, angry, hopeless, or depressed?

The good news is, there's nothing wrong
with humanity itself.

 And there's nothing wrong with you.

(Or me. Or them.)

We just live in a win/lose, dog-eat-dog "Cuckoo Culture" that doesn't work.  Not for humans, and not for any other living thing on Earth.

It doesn't work because
competitive, exploitive systems inherently (and understandably) stimulate primal survival fears.

In everyone. Including the "winners."

That's one of the things that makes it "cuckoo."
